An expert / person in your field that you admire
The truth is that there are no people that I admire or that I idolize, but as the teacher says, there are people that I respect very much for what they have done in their careers. One of those people is my saxophone teacher
Miguel Villafruela is an eminence in classical saxophone in Latin America and especially in Chile. He founded the saxophone chairs at the Universidad de Chile and the Universidad catolica de Chile, being a promoter of the classical saxophone in this country. He has played and taught in countless theaters and countries.
Thanks to this person I have grown a lot as an instrumentalist and he has been a great example to follow.
One of the things that I most appreciated about his teaching was to have a study routine and to be constant. At the beginning we clashed a lot because of our very different personalities, but I think that through the years we have understood each other better.
