Changes to My Study Programme

Imagen
I have been studying my career for 8 years and I have not seen changes in the infrastructure or in the curriculum. The art faculty I think is the most precarious of all the university of chile I think that if it were not for the love of what I do I would have given up the career. As for the curriculum, I think that although it is fine in its bases, it is still outdated and lacks branches for what is the reality of the students at the time of graduation. As far as time is concerned, I think it is necessary, but I am concerned that we spend the whole career with the same instrument teacher, since there comes a point when we begin to learn from the teachers' mistakes. I think we should have at least two different teachers so that this does not happen. As for infrastructure I think that the distribution of funds in the university makes it impossible to make a big change since the funds for the faculty are very little. As for the subjects I think that there are none that are too many,

Time travel to the past or future

Imagen
I believe that if I were given the choice between traveling to the past or to the future, I would choose the past, I believe that every past time was better and that if I could travel to the past I could fix many things and avoid many mistakes. But above all I have always believed that I was not born in the right time, I have always thought that my time would have been the middle age or the 20's, something much simpler and happier for the little things. About the future I don't think I would like to know, because it would ruin the surprise, besides I wouldn't like to know about deaths or anything bad, it would be like a torture. I think I would like to live in those times of the past knowing what I already know and see what benefits or tragedies it would bring me. Maybe I could be treated as a witch or something like that or maybe I could become a millionaire, who knows? I know they say it's wrong to live in the past but living in a past that wasn't yours sounds pr

My Dream Job

The best holidays ever

My best vacation was in 2018 if I remember correctly, we went with my girlfriend to backpack through the south of Chile. We left from Santiago by plane to Puerto Montt and from there it was quite an adventure. When we arrived in Puerto Montt we did not like the place so by recommendations we went trekking to the Junta in Cochamo. we were prepared but without the necessary experience to make the trek of 5 or 6 hours to get to the campsite, the next day I could not get up from back pain but the place was totally worth the effort. In that place we went to the glacier La Paloma, a 5 hours trekking uphill and we also went to the natural slides and after 5 days we decided to return to Puerto Montt to go to Chiloé. In Puerto Montt we were waiting on the road to be taken for no more than 15 minutes and a truck stopped and left us on the ferry to cross to the island then we waited for about 30 minutes to be taken to Castro where a relative of my girlfriend was waiting for us in Castro we spent

A country you would like to visit

Hello everyone, Today I want to tell you about Germany, specifically about Mittenwald, a not very well known but very beautiful town. This place interests me because there is a school there where I would like to study, there they teach lutherie, a career not yet exploited in Chile and that I like very much. Last year I took some German classes and although it is difficult and strange I like it a lot or maybe it's just my interest in going to Mittenwald that makes me like the language jajajaja. Mittenwald is on the border of Germany with Austria and belongs to the federal state of Bavaria. It has landscapes that I would love to be able to walk through. My goal is to go to study in Mittenwald after finishing my degree at the university to expand my field and if I have the opportunity to stay and live there. For that I have to continue learning the German language.

An expert / person in your field that you admire

The truth is that there are no people that I admire or that I idolize, but as the teacher says, there are people that I respect very much for what they have done in their careers. One of those people is my saxophone teacher Miguel Villafruela is an eminence in classical saxophone in Latin America and especially in Chile. He founded the saxophone chairs at the Universidad de Chile and the Universidad catolica de Chile, being a promoter of the classical saxophone in this country. He has played and taught in countless theaters and countries. Thanks to this person I have grown a lot as an instrumentalist and he has been a great example to follow. One of the things that I most appreciated about his teaching was to have a study routine and to be constant. At the beginning we clashed a lot because of our very different personalities, but I think that through the years we have understood each other better.

How can your major make the world a better place?

Well, I think I can start this with a phrase from the philosopher Nietzsche, "life without music would be a mistake". Music has been something essential in the history of mankind. It has been used as a form of communication in different moments of history. Music tells stories, feelings and is a world language, you might not speak the same language but still be able to understand what the author wanted to convey with his work. If you pay attention to the evolution of music you can see the evolution of different societies and their culture. Music can change your moods and being something non-tangible it can hurt a person. Music is something indispensable in humanity everywhere you go there is music, in the subway, elevators, the radio, television, the street, it is not necessary to go to a theater to listen to music and the truth is that music moves crowds. When I think about all that I think it gives me more encouragement to go on with this difficult career and that life with
